When I discovered that I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), my life changed completely for the better.
I understood a lot more about myself, as well as my reaction to so much that truly left me puzzled many times in my life.
Being highly sensitive is a unique character trait, actually it is a gift. When I realized I did not have a disorder or a disease, I wanted to shout and dance from the mountain tops.
In order to be a fully functional highly sensitive healthy human being, I had to address the areas that we all must deal with namely, emotional & mind; financial & money; physical & body; social & relationships; spiritual & religion.
I speak from experience when I say, when one of these areas is out of order, or stressed, it affects all of our very being, especially when one is highly sensitive. Believe me, life is not easy when one is not in total alignment with oneself.
Living a wholesome life has brought me into total alignment with myself, as a woman, and as a person. It has afforded me opportunities I never thought feasible. I have taken my sensitivity and turned it into my greatest strength.
